ECONOMIC STRENGTH

Cultivating an environment to foster diverse businesses and entrepreneurs, investing in workforce development, and continuing to develop smart infrastructure solutions.

Creating an environment for sustainable and inclusive economic strength.

Wake County should take the lead in supporting small businesses. I support the Wake Forward small business loan program. I am in favor of getting businesses back up and running as quickly and as safely as possible.

Partnerships are critical to this, like partnering with Wake Tech to train and re-train workers who may not be able to return to their previous jobs. I look forward to working with the Raleigh Chamber and business leaders to build a thriving and robust economy.

Fostering a Business-Friendly Environment

Cultivate a business-friendly environment that attracts new businesses and nurtures existing ones. I will work closely with local government agencies to streamline regulations, cut unnecessary red tape, and create incentives for entrepreneurship and investment. By providing our businesses with a supportive ecosystem, we can encourage job creation and attract industries that align with our long-term development goals

Investing in Workforce Development

Partner with local educational institutions to establish apprenticeship initiatives, workforce reskilling, vocational training centers, and specialized programs that align with the needs of emerging industries. Connecting our residents with meaningful employment opportunities will boost income levels and promote economic prosperity for all.

Developing Smart Infrastructure

Commit to working with relevant authorities to develop smart infrastructure solutions that not only address our current needs but also anticipate future growth. This includes investing in roads and transportation systems and promoting sustainable development practices. By creating a robust infrastructure framework, we can improve the quality of life for our residents while laying the foundation for continued economic success.
